Paul Adams

Paul Adams is the President and COO of bubbl, a sustainable transportation service operated by off-duty and retired Police Officers who protect and serve, and above all else, value family.

Paul has held Human Resources, Operations and Business Development Executive roles in highly complex and competitive business climates both domestically and internationally namely within the Service, Building Materials and Transportation industries.

He has developed the capacity to formulate unique business solutions for large key-to-the mission initiatives and the tenacity to attract, recruit, manage,and retain the teams that execute them in both stable and unstable environments. A diplomatic and flexible leader with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to break down cross-cultural communication barriers. Adept at strategically identifying, devising, and implementing customized solutions to support global business strategies and needs. Spent a great deal of time handling European Acquisition Integration / Risk Mitigation during an aggressive period in the early 2000’s while working for a very large multinational corporation. More than 13 years of cross-cultural work experience in over 16 countries including travel to over 22 countries. Resided in the United Kingdom, Belgium & South Africa for 4+ years.

Most recently, Paul served as an executive for Service Experts LLC a Residential & Commercial HVAC replacement and maintenance company with 108 plus service centers across North America, 2800 plus employees and 435m+ in annual revenue. The business was purchased by American Capital Ltd in March of 2013 by their Special Situations Group. American Capital, both directly and through its global asset management business, originates, underwrites and manages investments in middle market private equity, leveraged finance, real estate, energy & infrastructure and structured products. The business was considered distressed with negative earnings of 28.2m EBITDA. Paul was an equity partner who led the day-to-day restructuring efforts to transform the organization into a profitable (+25m EBITDA) portfolio company for American Capital within 36 months. In 2016 Service Experts was successfully acquired by Enercare Inc.

Paul served as the VP of Operations & Business Development for Dal-Tile the largest manufacturer of ceramic tile in North America. Paul was instrumental in creating an operating culture that exceeded planned revenue, operating income and cash objectives. He directed sales operations for a $1.3B P&L that included new product launches, pricing tools, establishment of the company’s B2B platform, to include implementation of the company’s CRM system. He led and authored Dal-Tile’s Manufactured Stone buisness strategy and all associated planning that included a new product roadmap, sales plan, competitor analysis, and marketing plan that helped this sales channel exceed plan performance in 2012.

In a previous role, Paul served as Vice President of Human Resources for Dal-Tile where he had accountability for 10,000 employees in North America. Paul personally managed the Human Resources function and within two years achieved the Dallas Morning News’ Top 100 places to work list in 2009 and 2010. Today Dal-Tile is recognized as number 27 of the top 100 best employers to work for in Dallas.

His early years were with ADT Security Services, SimplexGrinnell and UPS in both operations and human resources. His first several assignments were as an Operations and/or Human Resources Manager and then later he moved into several roles as Director.

Paul is a professional, accomplished, and versatile communicator instilling customer confidence and promoting internal and external business relationships that have proven to fortify, drive, and sustain sales.

Paul has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Baltimore and an MBA in Global Management from the University of Phoenix.
