Steve is a partner, CIO (Chief Investment Officer), and CCO (Chief Compliance Officer) of Legacy Consulting Group. In these roles, he oversees all components of the firm’s investment advisory function. This includes portfolio creation, investment manager due diligence, ongoing portfolio management and compliance with SEC rules and regulations. He is responsible for guiding the Firm’s investment planning philosophy, process, resources and deliverables. He also works with clients and takes pride in relieving their stress of managing personal wealth and making complex investment decisions.
He is a natural problem solver with an ability to develop and communicate complex solutions that appear simple and common sense to his clients. Steve is motivated to go above and beyond the role of a traditional wealth manager. He has strong interpersonal and communication skills which allow him to efficiently work with clients of all levels of financial knowledge.
Steve as worked for over 29 years in the financial planning and investment advisory profession. He received his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification from the College for Financial Planning in 1990 and is currently a member of the Financial Planning Association. Steve has been described repeatedly as one of the top financial planners in the Dallas area by D Magazine. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Management from the University of South Dakota and his MBA from the University of Dallas. In addition, Steve and his wife, Deb, have a daughter and a son. On the weekends, Steve enjoys soaking in the natural beauty of the outdoors by playing golf or hunting and developing their property in Northwest Arkansas. He and his wife fill their call to serve by co-leading a Young Marriage Life Group through their church.

Roger received his BBA in Finance from Abilene Christian University and his MBA in Management from the University of Dallas. In 1989, Roger received the Certified Financial Planner™ certification from the College for Financial Planning. In 2004 he received the Registered Life Planner™ certification from the Kinder Institute of Life Planning and in 2016 the Certified Financial Transitionist™ designation from the Sudden Money® Institute. He has worked in the financial planning profession for over 30 years, and is currently a member of the Financial Planning Association, Kinder Institute of Life Planning, Dallas Estate Planning Council, Dallas Foundation Advisory Board, The Sudden Money® Institute and the Nazrudin Project.

Roger and his wife Susan have three sons, a terrific daughter-in-law, and a wonderful granddaughter. Outside of work, Roger enjoys travel, exercise, playing tennis and squash, reading, fly-fishing, and bird hunting. He is active at Trinity Fellowship Church leading a Connection Group and served on the elder board from 2006 – 2014.
